As an an NLP Master Practitioner, I understand this one quite well. And I agree with you 110% on your point about needing to use this one carefully/respectfully and with "elegance". Recently I saw a very well known presenter up on stage give a CLASSIC example of how NOT to use it. His use of ECs was so blatant and so over the top, that he not only didn't get 1 sale, but he also lost total rapport with the large audience....and I suspect with the seminar producer too.
